Anthony Snoddy is the owner of GreenMoxie Australia Pty Ltd in Perth, Australia, a manufacturing company that produces geotextiles from recycled plastic content. A resident of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Anthony Snoddy gives back to those less fortunate by supporting leading civic organizations such as the National Urban League.

The National Urban League is a historic civil rights organization and service agency committed to economic empowerment in long-underserved communities. For more than five decades, the National Urban League has taken an active role in education by developing academic programs such as Project Ready Mentor that address both the social and cultural needs of young African Americans.

Project Ready Mentor nurtures African Americans and other urban youth from 11 to 18 years of age who are at risk of disengagement from school, the workforce, and the community. This program recognizes that strong mentors can influence students positively to focus on their studies, get good grades, enter college, and begin a productive career. Project Ready Mentor helps students to develop both academically and socially by learning key life and career skills.

Project Ready Mentor goes beyond the classroom and avails resources and opportunities that train young people to become well-rounded, productive, and responsible adults. The program relies on two approaches to achieve its goals. The relational approach involves bringing together a mentor and mentee to build a strong bond through participating in mutually interesting hobbies and activities. The instrumental approach, on the other hand, encourages learning and growth through activities such as mentor-mentee college visits or shared technology projects.
